Hi, I’m Napoleon

Napoleon and his fellow bantam friends were rescued mid-August of 2018 from the cruelty case in Lapeer County, Michigan. He and his girlfriend, Natasha, were among the smallest birds on the property. They took refuge in the upper part of the barn on the property and to this day love to roost high up in their coop.

After coming to the sanctuary, he was introduced to the other bantam chickens that were rescued and he quickly fell in love with Frankie, the mother hen. He, Frankie, and Natasha became a mischievous bunch, frequently escaping from their yard and causing a ruckus. Napoleon and his two favorite ladies are very timid, but have stolen the hearts of the staff and volunteers with their curiosity and goofy antics.
