Hi, I’m June

June was born on a large pig farm in Indiana. She was found in a metal barrel outside of the farm, still alive but suffering from an eye infection and pneumonia. We believe she was being raised for slaughter but was tossed out as a sick piglet after being deemed expendable.

After being discovered and rescued she made a full recovery with some medication and TLC. She spent a year in foster care before we brought her to her forever home at Barn Sanctuary.

June is curious girl and wears her sassy pants proudly. She is a fighter and self proclaimed queen of her yard. June has an insistent appetite and sharp mind. She knows that she deserves a life of freedom and safety and is not afraid to demand it.

Sponsorships help us provide daily care, regular medical checkups, and cover any unexpected emergency care costs for each animal. Sponsor June to help us provide the care she deserves!
